University of Guadalajara Department of Image and Sound (DIS)

The Department of Image and Sound (DIS), part of the University Center for Art, Architicture and Design (CUAAD), opened in March of 2004 as a part of University of Guadalajara's development plan, with the goal to offer high quality education in the areas of communication and cinema.

Center for Audiovisual Art (CAAV)

The CAAV opened in 1995 in Guadalajara, and for years was the only video school in Mexico. It now offers degrees in audiovisual production, screenwriting, animation, publicity, interactive media and cinematography.
